Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Cu Chi Tunnels – Cao Dai Temple

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh – Arrival (L)

Upon arrival Tan Son Nhat airport, you meet our guide and transfer to your hotel. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. Afternoon, start visiting City with Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, and some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 02: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Can Tho (B/L)

Pick up at hotel. Depart for My Tho - Tien Giang, the first province in the Mekong Delta. Then you take the boat trip on Mekong river to visit the tropical fruit gardens and peasants' houses on islets. Enjoy season fruits. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Can Tho. Check in hotel and free time to discover local market and the night- life of Ninh Kieu quay. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 03: Can Tho – Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh  (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. In early morning, you’ll take a boat to visit nice scenery of Cai Rang floating market where you can witness the buyer and seller exchanging goods and fruits from their boat. Discovery how rice-noodle made and visit rice-husking factory, fruits orchard. Having lunch before driving back to Saigon via Vinh Long Province. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 04: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Cao Dai Temple (B/L)

Depart from your hotel to Cu Chi tunnels. Another name of Cu Chi is “Steel land”. It is where the army troops of the VC concealed themselves during the Vietnam war. The tunnel systems were created by locals over a period of years. This huge construction was a habitation for village people in the wartime. With 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the war despite its proximity to Ho Chi Minh. Visit the fighting tunnel system with your local guide. If you are that way inclined, you can purchase ammunition and fire a weapon of the war on the rifle range. Have lunch in Cu Chi. After the Cu Chi tunnels visit, drive to Tay Ninh province for Cao Dai temple. Join Cao Dai followers to arrange their daily afternoon mass for half an hour. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 05: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure.
