Hanoi – Sapa Trekking – Halong Bay

Day 01: Arrive in Hanoi - City tour – Train to Lao Cai (D)

Meet at airport. Time at leisure to go for a walk and enjoy Hanoi. Visit Hanoi Old Quarter to take a walk around the Old Quarter by cyclo, short break for refreshment at Vietnam traditional handicraft exhibition. Have dinner at Vietnamese restaurant. Transfer to Railway Station for night train at 9.30 pm to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Day 02: Lao Cai – Sapa ( B/L)

Arrive Lao Cai train station about 6.00am, transfer to Sapa by car then check in the hotel . Walking to Lao Chai minority village of H’mong ethnic group, trek towards beautiful valleys. Continue to visit the Ta Van village, see the daily life of the minority people there. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. Take the jeep back Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 03: Sapa – Lao Cai - Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast, visit Cat Cat waterfall in the morning. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. Afternoon is free to discover Sapa town. Then return to Lao Cai  station to catch night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Arrive in Hanoi at 5.00am next day.

Day 04: Hanoi – Halong bay (B/L/D)

Pick up at train station at 5.00am. 03 hours road trip to Halong. Seafood lunch while cruising around amaze islets amid dramatic natural scenery. On the way to visit Sung Sot Cave – one of the most impressive caves on the limestone mountain, see Floating villages, Dinh Huong Mount, Cock Fighting Mount. Stop for swimming in emerald water, admiring sunset. Fresh seafood dinner before retiring to sleep in the room on boat.

Day 05: Halong bay - Hanoi out (Brunch)

More cruising to the other part of the bay. Lazy on the top deck for sunbathing, taking picture  fishing farm, floating school, swimming. Brunch on boat, then return Hanoi. Free time at leisure before transfer to Noi Bai International airport for departure.
