Trekking - Kayaking - Scuba Diving Tour ( 16 days/ 15 nights tours)
Day 1 : Hanoi – Arrival Arrive at Noi Bai Airport . Meet the guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 : Hanoi – City tour – Overnight train to Sapa (B/L/D) From your hotel, we start to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house - then visit Ho Chi Minh’s museum where tourists will learn what he has done for Viet Nam and some other countries and learn all kinds of information about President Ho Chi Minh. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda - a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature - the first college of Viet Nam and the place dedicating to Confucian. Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, drive to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Which is on the shore of West Lake. The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with a stop to visit Ngoc Son Temple. End the tour in the late afternoon. Have dinner and transfer to the train station, catch the night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 3 : Sapa – Cat Cat trekking (B/L/D) Train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 6:00 am. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 38 km but it takes around one hours to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, after checking in, we will fresh ourselves and have breakfast and then are ready to explore Sapa town. We embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H'mong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Have dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 4 : Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Homestay (B/L/D) After breakfast we leave the hotel and start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing. After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green colour. The Zay houses are built in wood and bamboo with clay floor. We stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van and have our dinner here.
Day 5 : Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan - Sapa – Overnight train to Hanoi (B/L/D) Farewell the local family we continue to visit Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai where we also see a waterfall. The Red Dao women have very colorful red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Zao’ Legend. We continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River and trek up to Su pan where you will meet the jeep transfer back to Sapa.Take a day room in Sapa for shower. Free at the leisure for shopping and visit Sapa town till transfer to Lao Cai station for overnight train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 6 : Hanoi – Halong bay (B/L/D) Car wait for us at the train station and go to Halong bay . After 3 hours , we arrive Halong city , get on the boat . Fresh seafood will be served on the boat . After lunch , we discover the beauty of Halong bay , visit Surprising Cave, one of the most beautiful caves of Halong Bay, visit thousands of amazing islets . We have free time to swim and relax. Have dinner and overnight on the junk boat.
Day 7 : Halong discovery by kayaking (B/L/D) After breakfast on boat , we change to small boat , cruise to Hang Ca , paddle through the tunnel and emerge into a crater lake . Continue to Tien Ong Cave , Van Gia floating village and heading to Lan Ha bay . Here we have more time for kayaking, swimming in quite, crystal water and sunbathing in white marvelous sandy beach . In the late afternoon, cruise back to the big boat . Have dinner and overnight on board.
Day 8 : Halong – Hanoi (B/L) Relax on the upper desk, overview Halong Bay. We have lunch on boat before returning to harbor at 12:00. Take the bus back to Hanoi. We arrive Hanoi at 16:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9 : Hanoi – Hue (B) We have free time until transfer to airport for flight to Hue . Arrive Hue , we check in hotel . This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue city including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple city, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue - Danang - Hoian (B/L) Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume river. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume river and surrounding area. From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out the Dragon boat. Leave the world Heritage Hue to Hoian, we will travel over the Hai Van pass, stop in Danang for a visit to Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoian. Once in Hoian we will check into our hotel and have some free time to explore. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 11 : Hoian – Danang – Nha Trang (B) We have free time until transfer to airport for flight to Nha Trang . Check in hotel in Nha Trang . Free time for swimming, relaxing in Nha Trang beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12 : Nha Trang – Diving – Snorkeling (B/L) After breakfast at hotel , we take the bus to the dock and get on the dive boat to diving site. Two dives and snorkeling at Mun Island , we will see the biodiversity of corals with over 350 species and many kinds of big , colorful fishes . Have lunch. Take the bus back to hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 13 : Nha Trang – Saigon (B) We have free time for relaxing in the morning and take the flight to Saigon in the afternoon. Check in hotel and overnight in Saigon.
Day 14 : Saigon – Cu Chi tunnels – City tour (B/L) Heading to Cu Chi tunnels, an underground tunnels network over 200km build by Viet Cong in the American war. Back to Saigon. After lunch, we visit Reunification Palace, then visit War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, central Post office … Overnight in Saigon.
Day 15 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B/L) Leave Saigon to lush My Tho where we board on a private boat to through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch in bonsai garden in the heart of Mekong, complete with tropical fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine and enjoy a bonsai garden in Trung Luong before heading back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 16 : Saigon – Departure (B) Free time until transfer to airport for your departure.
