Vietnam Culture Discovery ( 13 days/ 12 nights tours)
Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D) On arrival at Noi Bai International airport, you will be picked up by our guide and transferred to the hotel. Welcome dinner at a Super Restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B/L/D) The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. Full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby and the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds. Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers’ street ,Thanh Nien street, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. In the evening enjoy traditional Vietnamese Water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Ha Noi - Mai Chau - Pong Cong village (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel, then we depart to Hoa Binh city where we stop for refreshments and coffee. Leave Hoa Binh we climb towards the Mai Chau valley, about another 1,5 hours away, stop on the way to take in the spectacular scenery. Have lunch in Mai Chau town, we stroll around stunning villages of Thai people after that. Our hosts for this evening will be the White Thai minority people and we will stay in one of their traditional stilt houses. There, we will be toasted as honored guests and will be able to sample some of their home made rice wine. In sampling these people hospitality, we will discover a little more about their lives and culture following the evening meal. Tonight's accommodation will probably be a little more rustic than you would be used to. Home stay in Mai Chau.
Breakfast at stilt house, we stroll around the village and drive on the scenic road to go to Ninh Binh. The beautiful region is often referred to Halong Bay on land. Overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.
Day 5: Ninh Binh - Thai Binh - Hai Phong (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel and drive to Hoa Lu, we spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries, then move on to Tam Coc for 3-hour boat trip along the Boi River. After lunch we visit Bich Dong Pagodas. We then drive to the colonial Hai Phong city. Overnight in Hai Phong.
Day 6: Hai Phong - Halong Bay (B/L/D) This morning we leave Hai Phong to Halong City. Upon arriving in Ha Long City we transfer to our private boat for 4 hour amazing cruise around Halong Bay. We will stop at Thien Cung Grotto (the Heaven Palace Grotto) and Dau Go Cave (Drift wood Cave) as well. The trip would not be complete without a sumptuous seafood lunch on board as we cruise. We also visit one beautiful limestone grottoes before making our way back to Hanoi Capital. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Ha Noi - Hue (B/L/D) You are free at leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to ancient capital Hue. This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue city to visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple city, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L/D) Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume river and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda which is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and Buddhism Centre in Centre Vietnam. From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out the Dragon boat. Leave the world Heritage Hue to Hoi An, we will travel over the Hai Van pass, stop in Danang for a visit to Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoian. Once in Hoi An we will check into our hotel and have some free time to explore. Overnight in Hoi An.
You enjoy the free time until transfer to airport for your afternoon flight to Nha Trang. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.
A relaxing day in Nha Trang and experience some of Nha Trang's nightlife. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 11: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh city ( other name: Saigon) (B/L/D) Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city. You will be met at airport and transfer to hotel for checking in. Enjoy full day city tour of Ho Chi Minh city to visit The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, China town with ancient pagodas and temples, and bustling Binh Tay market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh city- Delta Mekong (B/L/D) Leave Ho Chi Minh city to lush My Tho where we boat on a private boat to through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch in bonsai garden in the heart of Mekong, complete with tropical fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine and enjoy a bonsai garden in Trung Luong before heading back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city departure (B) Breakfast at hotel. Free time to go shopping. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
